Hi, I’m TANISHA HARGROVE

I’m the creator behind Cake It or Leave It!

It started innocently enough — a little weekend baking, a few “just for fun” cakes, and then boom… I accidentally launched a business. Turns out, when people keep saying “you should sell these,” you should probably listen. So Cake It or Leave It made its grand debut on May 17, 2024.

Then, because apparently I enjoy chaos, I peaced out of a 20-year Operations career in October 2025 to chase buttercream full-time. Goodbye spreadsheets, hello sprinkles.

Now I spend my days turning wild ideas into cakes that actually make people gasp (and sometimes cry — the good kind). Every design is bold, boujee, and built for main-character moments.

None of this happens without my husband, my family, and all of you hyping me up like I’m the Beyoncé of buttercream. So yeah — thanks for letting me turn your cake dreams into edible drama.
