HOW TO CUT YOUR CAKE
Pick Up and Transport:
Always lift the cake box from the bottom and keep it level. Hold the box upright and avoid stacking to prevent damage. Inside a car, place the box on a flat, non-slip surface and avoid bumpy roads.
Storage:
Keep your cake in an airtight box away from heat, moisture, and sunlight. Refrigerate in the original box for freshness. For leftovers, use a smaller airtight container. Remove from the fridge 30–60 minutes before serving to bring it to room temperature.
Serving Preparation:
Cold buttercream can stick to a knife, making cutting messy. Have hot water and a cloth to dip and wipe the knife between slices for clean cuts. Don’t serve the cake cold; it will affect the taste.
Display:
Use a sturdy cake stand that matches the bottom of the cake. Don’t leave the cake out of the fridge for more than 30 minutes (or 15 minutes in warm weather) to keep the icing from softening.
With a board placed nearby, cut a slice down the side of your cake.
Lay the cut piece on the board and cut the cake lengthwise twice.
Then, cut across the middle of the sliced section, cutting it into your preferred sizes.
Repeat with the rest of the cake, serve, and enjoy!
